Important Notice

Please be advised that, due to logistical reasons, jackets will not be available at the conference. As you plan for your trip to Calgary, please pack appropriate attire, as temperatures in Calgary in April are around 4 degrees C (40 degrees F). Find a detailed weather forecast here. If your attendance plans have changed and you would like us to cancel your registration with a full refund, please contact sp.conferences.info@ieee.org.

Conference registration is located at the Exhibition Hall Foyer in the North Building Upper Level of the CTCC.

Linking of Accepted Papers to Registration Record

Each paper must have at least one author registered at a non-student rate by February 16, 2018. Also, one of the authors (or a qualified substitute) must give a presentation of the paper at the conference. Please enter the paper ID(s) of the paper(s) you will cover with your non-student registration here. One full registration can cover up to 4 papers.

Please note that papers which are not presented in person at the conference will not be included in the official proceedings and will not appear on IEEE Xplore.

Each banquet attendee will receive a white cowboy hat. During registration, if you purchase banquet ticket(s), you will be asked to select the hat size. Use this chart to determine the appropriate hat size to order. Extras will not be available for purchase on-site.

Registration Terms and Policies

  1. One copy of proceedings in electronic format (delivered on site) is included in the conference registration fee.
  2. The regular registration fee does not include tutorials.
  3. The regular registration fee does not include the banquet.
  4. You must be an IEEE Member at the time of registration to receive the IEEE Member discount. Please visit ieee.org/join for details.

No invoices will be sent. Each attendee must register separately. Attendees not using credit cards must forward a check or money order payable to IEEE ICASSP 2018 and drawn on a US bank or a US branch of an International bank for the total registration amount in US Dollars. There will be a $50 fee assessed for returned checks or for chargebacks issued on valid credit card charges. Registration payments must be received by the registration deadline for the rate at which you registered; if payment is not received by the deadline, you will be responsible for the higher rate. Refund policy: A full refund, after a US $50 (equivalent) processing fee, will be given, provided the request is applied for prior to the last day of the Advance Registration deadline. Refunds will not be issued after the advance registration deadline, unless in extreme cases (i.e. medical or family emergencies, visa issues). In such cases, the organizers must be alerted prior to the conference start date. To obtain a refund, an email must be submitted containing proof of the extenuating circumstance, up to one week after the conference end date. Any visa related issues must provide proof that the application was submitted at least 30 days prior to the conference start date.
